Kimber Skatepark is a metal and concrete outdoor park, located in King George’s Park next to the River Wandle. The park is free to skate but subject to summer opening times of 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday and 12pm to 6pm weekends and school holidays.

It is a 14 minute walk from Southfields Underground station and a 12 minute walk from Earlsfield Overground station and served very well by local busses.

The park features an enclosed concrete plaza style loop, a metal framed mini ramp, 2 metal framed quarter pipes, one with a flat bank and a metal framed spine. The plaza style loop includes a concrete quarter pipe that leads up to an earthquake gap, a bowled edge on the far side, a series of ledges, flat has flat banks on either side with a bowled edge and a flat bar rail in the middle. The layout has been well designed to make a loop that you can skate around and the surfaces are super smooth, making it great for all levels.

Other features of the park include a BMX track on the far side as well as other facilities such as a Skateshop, Basketball hoops, toilets and an office.
